A physician-led healthcare company, built at the intersection of medicine, engineering, cybersecurity, and service.
ARVELLIS was created around a simple premise: complex information becomes valuable only when people can understand it, trust it, and use it responsibly.
One operating perspective
ARVELLIS is a healthcare company first. It brings clinical judgment, systems thinking, evidence, security, and accountability into a single operating perspective, and that perspective shapes both ARVELLIS clinical intelligence and its work in responsible AI for healthcare.

Dr. Craig S. Coleman
President and CEO
Dr. Craig S. Coleman is a physician, systems engineer, cybersecurity professional, and retired U.S. Navy officer who founded ARVELLIS to address the critical gaps that emerge between clinical visits. His experience spans family medicine, healthcare cybersecurity and governance, responsible AI, and complex systems engineering. He leads ARVELLIS in developing physician-led clinical intelligence and responsible AI solutions that strengthen, rather than replace, professional judgment.
Why ARVELLIS exists
Dr. Craig S. Coleman, President and CEO
As an engineer, I was trained to understand complex systems and how their components interact. When I became a physician, I recognized that the human body is itself a system of systems: cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, metabolic, and others.
I also came to recognize that both the patient and the physician exist within another complex system: our healthcare delivery system.
That is where something became clear to me. A patient can deteriorate even when everyone within the healthcare system is doing their job. The problem is not always a failure of clinical care. Sometimes it is a failure of visibility, communication, or information flow between encounters.
The disease doesn’t stop between appointments. Life doesn’t stop. But our visibility into what is happening with the patient often does.
That realization became the foundation for the Patient Engagement System and, ultimately, the Physician Intelligence Engine.
It is also why ARVELLIS works the way it does. Clinical experience, systems engineering, and responsible technology development belong together, so that clinicians can see what might otherwise remain unseen between encounters, and so that the technology shaping care stays accountable to the people who use it.
Disciplined cultivation
The ARVELLIS name and story reflect disciplined cultivation: recognizing what matters, creating the conditions for responsible growth, and building capability that can endure.
